My family and I had a fantastic stay at this cottage! The cottage was absolutely beautiful! It had everything we needed from appliances and utensils to books and movies for some down time. Some of the stairs down to the lake are a little wobbly, but worth it when you get to the lake. You could not ask for a better lake to swim in! We even got to see a fox while we were enjoying the campfire.

We came here for a girls retreat and had a fabulous time! The cottage is even bigger than it appears in the photos. There was more than enough space for the 7 of us. The views from the dock were gorgeous, especially at sunset, as you face south west! The lake was warm, quiet and clean. Having the option to use the canoe and kiyaks was a huge bonus. The dock was large enough for all of us to tan, work out and do yoga. It was the perfect place for our retreat!
The only thing we didn't realize is that the listed "1.5 bathroom" is two rooms (one with a toilet and one with a shower/tub) but it is not two toilets. It was no problem at all for us (just thought it was good to note!) and having the separation of the 2 facilities really helped save time.
We really enjoyed our time and will likely be back next year!

"Spacious old style cottage. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Quiet area in winter (our experience) and close to Minden. Hosts are easy to reach and available to answer all questions promptly! The large screened in porch in the summer months would be lovely."

"Great place. Secluded so it really feels like your own personal spot. The cottage is built with wood inside so it feels really cozy and smells great! The cottage does not have AC however it does cool down at night so there are no issues with the temperature. The lake entrance has quite a few steps down and a walk back to up to the place but not that concerning. Had a great time!"

"Kimberly's cottage was an absolute dream. Although we had rain throughout the weekend, it was still absolutely stunning. The lake had an awesome sheet of ice over it, so it was extremely beautiful at all times of the day. The cottage had everything you needed! The walk back up to the cottage from the dock is quite tiring (I'm not the most active person lol), so remember to bring everything you need. We also got to watch some old movies on the VHS and it was an overall awesome touch to the entire weekend. I would 10/10 recommend :)"

This place is a little slice of heaven! It was a reasonable drive from Toronto, and fit 8 of us comfortably. The lake is beautiful, clean and warm. The cottage is nicer than in the pictures even! The power went out in the area after a storm, and Kimberley made sure to keep in constant contact to find out for us when it would come back. Thanks again Kim, I will be sure to come back

"This is a beautiful cottage on a quiet lake. We had a very relaxing time and seeing the fall colours was a perfect addition to our thanksgiving. We had a great time on the canoe provided They had all we needed for cooking, even our turkey dinner! The steps down to the lakefront can be challenging for elderly but worth the trip down and can be managed with care. It was easy to get to and not too far from the city. I would highly recommend this place for a family getaway or a gathering with friends."
